The Trabzon & Istanbul trip begins with departure from Baghdad International Airport toward Trabzon International Airport (with a transit stop at Sabiha Airport in Istanbul). Upon arrival and after completing visa procedures, the tour guide will be waiting to transfer travelers to the hotel for check-in, followed by free time to rest for the remainder of the day.
Day 2
The second day’s program begins after breakfast as a free day. An optional tour is available for visiting the city of Trabzon, starting with Atatürk’s Pavilion, one of the finest examples of Turkish architectural beauty. The tour continues with a visit to the Hagia Sophia Museum, with stops at various attractions such as Trabzon Botanical Garden, Trabzon Castle, Gulbahar Hatun Complex, Zagnos Pasha Bridge & Valley, and Ortahisar Old Town. Afterwards, you will head to the stunning Sera Lake to enjoy lunch amid breathtaking natural scenery. The day concludes with a visit to Boztepe Hill, famous for its exceptional panoramic views.
Day 3
The third day begins after breakfast as a free day for rest, or an optional tour can be arranged to visit one of the most famous countryside destinations in Turkey: the village of Uzungöl, located southeast of Trabzon. Uzungöl is a natural reserve filled with mountains, plateaus, and lakes—an exceptional place for nature walks and enjoying its stunning landscapes.
Day 4
The fourth day begins after breakfast, followed by packing and hotel check-out to travel to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Sabiha Airport, the tour guide will welcome travelers and transfer them directly to the hotel for check-in and free time. An optional Bosphorus cruise is available to enjoy views of palaces, squares, and landmarks along both the Asian and European sides of the city.
Day 5
After breakfast at the hotel, the fifth day is free, or an optional tour can be arranged to the city of Bursa, located in northwestern Turkey. Bursa is rich in historical and archaeological sites and is known as “Green Bursa” for its forests, parks, and surrounding mountain landscapes. The tour includes a ride on the world’s longest cable car to reach the area where lunch will be served.
Day 6
The sixth day begins after breakfast as a free day for rest, or an optional tour is available to explore the Turkish countryside. The tour includes a trip to Sapanca Lake, located about two hours away, where visitors can enjoy nature and participate in activities such as jet skiing and horse-drawn carriage rides.
Day 7
After breakfast, the seventh day is free or may include an optional shopping tour of Istanbul’s famous markets as well as major shopping centers such as Olivium Mall and Kale Center.
Day 8
After breakfast, the eighth day is free for relaxation or strolling through the city’s beautiful streets. In the evening, luggage will be prepared, rooms checked out, and travelers transferred to the airport for the return flight. Upon arrival in Baghdad the next day, the Trabzon & Istanbul trip concludes.
